WELCOME FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the FC Santa Rosa web site! This web site is grounded in our overall strategy of reaching out to the broadest possible community of football-lovers in order to expose them to our club philosophy and activities. It is complemented by our facebook page (1.fcsantarosa).
On 19 September 2012, FC Santa Rosa will commemorate its twentieth anniversary. Our club continues to grow steadily, in terms of its registered membership, the programmes we offer, and its performance on the field of play. Our brand is now established in the domestic game and our international relationships are growing every year. In 2011 FC Santa Rosa Cannons won the TTFF National Youth League Under 15 and Under 17 divisions, and finished third in the Under 13 division. Our men’s team, in its second season of competition, is now competitive at any level of the domestic game. Our players are now representing Trinidad and Tobago in national teams at every level.
As ever, the education of our members and staff remains a high priority for the club. In 2011 our coaches participated in TTFF and Dutch (KNVB) courses. Staff education will continue in 2012 as we strive for the highest standards of coaching effectiveness, team management, and player education.
Against this back ground of continuing success, for 2012 we have set the following strategic objectives:
- Promotion to the TTFF Super League
- Improvement of our financial viability
- Expansion of our community programme
- Development of our identity as Arima’s representative club
- Professionalization of our operation
- Enhancement of Arima’s image
